Open Source AI Projects
Research-grade, open-source frameworks advancing education technology, academic integrity, and transparent verification. Built by the Atlanta College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (ACLAS) from first principles — not API wrappers.
Code is MIT. Data is CC.
A university that keeps its methods secret is a black box with a diploma printer. ACLAS builds in the open because the claim we make — we're prototyping the university of 2030 — is only verifiable if anyone can inspect, reproduce, and fork the work.
Every system below is developed and maintained by the Atlanta College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Use them, cite them, break them, improve them. That's the point.
NEURO-EDU SDK
Autonomous Cognitive Simulation Framework for AI-Powered Education
A research-grade, open-source multi-agent cognitive simulation framework that models human knowledge acquisition using on-device neural networks, vector-space semantics, and thermodynamic entropy analysis.
AEGIS GRAPH
Open-source academic credential verification prototype
A public framework for exploring evidence mapping, review workflows, and transparent credential verification in the age of synthetic data.
POLYMATH
Open higher-education taxonomy and curriculum knowledge graph
University courses, prerequisites, degree pathways, skills, careers, ECTS, US credits, ISCED-F and CIP codes. The map every "build your own degree" tool needs.
SWOT
Academic email and domain identifier
Identifies email addresses and domain names that belong to colleges or universities. Automates the academic-discount approval process — a small tool that removes real friction in student life.
The data is open too
Four research datasets published by ACLAS under CC-BY-4.0, with DOIs on Zenodo and mirrors on HuggingFace and Kaggle.
Improve the prototype
Found a bug? Want a feature? Open an issue or a pull request on github.com/aclascollege. The university of 2030 gets built by whoever shows up.
